People who have been hurt will take part in hurting others, that is not a new concept, yet many have not worked towards healing the pain.
Your scars remain. Your hurt is real. Acknowledge it. Don't hold it in and deal with it alone. Find someone to confide in and work things through. The pain may not go away forever, but at least you'll know you don't have to deal with it by yourself when the weather is bad.
By the grace of God I have been lifted up out of my spiritual death. I have learned from my mistakes and the hurt I held on to. Through all of that I have grown to know, God will shine through the mess.
The pain of the world is real. The struggles of life will come and they will hit hard. In fact, they might tear you down emotionally and physically..."But take heart; (Christ has) overcome the world"!
It is easier to see God in things of beauty than to work to find Him in the mess.
Christ called His followers to take on His love and quit carrying their own load. He came to bring life and longs for His creation to know the life He gives. The feeling of brokenness is bringing death, but His message of restoration brings hope.
May we remember our actions are teaching our children. May we remember our words will stick in the minds of children. May we remember that we have a responsibility of teaching our kids how to live together in peace and unity. May they begin to see our examples in action today.
